Terms of Service

Effective date: September 2, 2026

These terms govern use of the ShotLab mobile application and related services. By using ShotLab, the user agrees to these terms.

Beta service

ShotLab may be offered as a beta service. Features can change, contain errors, or become temporarily unavailable. Testers should report problems and should not rely on ShotLab as the sole record of important information.

Accounts

Users are responsible for their account and device security and for providing accurate information. Users must not impersonate another person, misuse another account, or attempt to bypass access controls.

Players, coaches, and teams

Players choose whether to join a team using a private code. Joining authorizes that team’s coach to access and correct the workout information described in the Privacy Policy. Coaches must use player information only for legitimate team and training purposes and must have any consent required to work with minors.

Acceptable use

Users must not use ShotLab unlawfully; interfere with the service; probe or exploit security; upload malicious content; harass others; or access, disclose, or misuse information without authorization.

User content

Users retain ownership of workout entries and notes they submit. They grant ShotLab a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service.

Health and training disclaimer

ShotLab provides organizational and statistical tools, not medical advice. Users remain responsible for safe training decisions and should consult qualified professionals when appropriate.

Third-party services

ShotLab relies on third-party platforms and services. Their own terms and policies may apply. ShotLab is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address misuse, or discontinue the service. Users may stop using ShotLab and delete their account at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, ShotLab is provided “as is” and without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. ShotLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
